There are over 20 dog walkers in the neighborhood. Many live in Stony Point apartments, but several surrounding homeowners take their dogs to the bathroom on Stony Point property too. (crapping on their own property reduces home values !) The dog owners walk their dogs several times a day. This means that dogs are dropping their feces and urninating in the grass and on the sidwalks 40 to 60 times DAILY.

Davlyn Stony Point Apartments is the dog toilet of Chatsworth

Morning , Noon and Night. Dogs defecating near your car, urinating on your tires, on the grass next to your apartment window, in front of the the pool at Stony Point apartments.

What you will see:

	There is a Kids Play Area. A large grassy area perfect for playing catch, tag or even having a family barbecue so long as you don't mind cleaning up after the neighbor's dog first.
	This is the daily reality of living and walking around Stony Point apartments. People let their dogs poop on the grass next to the curb where cars are parked. You must watch your step when getting in and out of your car. Warn your relatives before they come over too.
	Don't let your kids play near the trees, they could still be wet ! .
	You'll need to get used to this. If this is your friend, or your date or your sister, she may never get used to this. Maybe you'll just go to her house from now on.

What you will NOT see:

	You will not see many people carrying anything to pick up dog feces. This lady is taking her dog away from her house and over to Stony Point apartments. She doesn't feel she needs to worry about her dog's mess so long as it's not on her property.
	You will not see dogwalkers stopping to pick up their dog's mess especially if it's not in front of their own apartment, condo or home. In particular the neighboring Condo owners and Homeowners bring their dogs to Stony Point apartments specifically to save themselves the hassle of having to clean up after their pets.
	You will not see children picking up the dog's mess. Likely the dog was purchased for the kid with the usual "you will have to clean up after it" , "I will , I will mommy , I PROMISE. I don't see anything in this kid's hands besides a leash. When that dog craps on the grass in front of the apartments, she's leaving it there.
	You will not see dogs cleaning up after themselves. Dog owners must do it. But you won't see that either.

LAMC Section 53.49 / IT’S THE LAW: PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG

It shall be unlawful for the owner or person having custody of any dog to fail to immediately remove and dispose of in a sanitary manner, by replacing in a closed or sealed container and depositing in a trash receptacle, any feces deposited by such dog upon public or private property, without the consent of the public or private owner or person in lawful possession of the property, other than property owned or controller by the owner or person having custody of such dog. The provisions of this subsection shall not apply to a blind person being accompanied by a guide dog. Not withstanding any other provision of this Code, every violation of any of the provisions of this section shall be an infraction. punishable by a fine of $20.00.
